Prior to confirming your booking we will provide you a quote for your wedding day itinerary, accounting for distance and time the vehicle is required. The car you book will be available for all the journeys included in your itinerary, from the beginning of the wedding day until the start of the wedding reception. This will include all the time and mileage required for these journeys, which can include: groom/best man to ceremony, bridesmaids/brides mother to ceremony, bride/brides father to ceremony and bride and groom to reception, via any preferred route and locations for photos..
No. Due to government licensing restrictions we are not able to provide transport for Proms. We are only able to provide services for Weddings, Blessings and Civil Partnerships,
We only ever book a car for one wedding on any particular date. This ensures that our vehicles are prepared and cleaned to the highest standard for each wedding. It also allows us to be flexible in accommodating changes to your booking times and itinerary.
Yes. Children may accompany adults in our cars for travel t to and from wedding venues. However, children under 12 years or under 4ft 5in tall may only be carried when the correct ‘Child Restraint’ as required by law is used. ‘Child Restraint’ is the collective term in the seat belt legislation for, baby seats, child seats, booster seats and booster cushions. The parents and/or guardians are responsible for providing the correct type of ‘Child Restraint’ for each child travelling, and assisting the driver to ensure it is fitted correctly to the rear seats of the vehicle.
Yes. We stock a wide range of colours of ribbons, allowing you to choose the closest match to the colour theme of your wedding.
Yes. We carry umbrellas in our cars for use if required.
Yes. We provide chilled spring water for the wedding couple and guests travelling in our cars.
Unfortunately, we do not have a license for providing alcohol as part of our service. Our cars do however carry chilled cooler boxes, so if you would like to provide a bottle of your own we will be pleased to keep it chilled for you. We do ask that consumption of any food or drink (other than water) takes place outside the vehicle when stationary.
Yes. The length of hire can be extended to include one or more additional journey's later in the evening. Please enquire at the time of booking and we will be pleased to provide details of any additional charges.
Note : For reasons of safety and visibility your car will not have ribbons during hours of darkness as your safety is our priority.
Our cars are popular with wedding couples and are generally booked well in advance. If your preferred car is available for your selected date, we recommend you confirm you booking at the soonest opportunity..
A deposit of £100 per car is payable to secure your booking. An invoice will be raised for the balance which is due 30 days before the wedding date..
You can cancel your booking up until 30 days before your wedding date. If you cancel your booking after paying the deposit, the deposit amount will not be refundable. If you cancel your booking less than 30 days before the wedding Royal County Wedding Cars will retain all the fees paid.
We have never had a situation which led to us being unable to provide the service booked by our clients. If an unexpected issue did arise with your chosen car that meant we were unable to provide transport for your wedding, then Royal County Wedding cars will inform you with as much advance notice as possible.. Utilising our network of contacts we will endeavour to arrange for another supplier to offer an equivalent standard of vehicle for your wedding day. Any payments that have been made to Royal County Wedding Cars (including deposit amounts) will be refunded in full.
